Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Student Named Winner In EPIC ADVENTURE National Sweepstakes
Miami, OK – Michael Lopez, a student at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, was recently selected as one of 15 lucky winners in Sodexo’s EPIC ADVENTURE National Prize Sweepstakes. Michael will be receiving a $575 Gift Card to Cabela’s® for a Camping Package as his EPIC ADVENTURE prize of choice. EPIC ADVENTURE is part of an ongoing resident dining promotion series sponsored by Sodexo, the dining services company at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
Featured at more than 600 college and university campuses managed by Sodexo nationwide, EPIC ADVENTURE encouraged chefs to deliver extreme experiences to all adventure-loving students by showcasing exciting possibilities in cuisine. When students weren’t buried in their studies, they were given the opportunity to participate in fun, interactive events with the goal of heightening their senses and testing their limits. In January, a camping-inspired menu and decorations celebrated the EPIC ADVENTURE theme at the NEO A&M College Unit.
In addition to a variety of on-site activities, the EPIC ADVENTURE National Prize Sweepstakes gave 15 randomly-selected winners their choice of one of the following action-packed gift sets: $575 Cabela’s® Camping Package gift card, $575 Cabela’s® Paddle Board Package gift card, $575 Best Buy® Drone Package gift card or a $575 L.L. Bean® Telescope Package gift card.

XOXO to Sodexo – For Taking a Stand for Millions of Hens
Today, with Sodexo, we are announcing that the giant food service company has committed, over the next five years, to switch all 20 million pounds of its liquid eggs to cage-free. The company manages dining operations at thousands of colleges, universities, hospitals, and corporate dining centers across the country. Due to its enormous size, this will remove 750,000 hens from battery cages per year and put them into cage-free settings. This announcement comes after prior announcements from the company to switch to cage-free for its 39 million shell eggs – which provides a better living for an additional 150,000 birds.
